Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (LIS), with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2.1) at the undergraduate level or a related discipline from a recognized Institution;
- Certification by the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN);
- Paid-up membership of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA); iv) A minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience in a university setting;
- A minimum of four (4) peer-reviewed publications in reputable LIS journals; and
- Evidence of ICT competence and skills especially with library technologies.
