Job Description
- We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant with relevant experience in the Asset Management/Investment Management industry to join our team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably within an Asset Management, Investment Management, Fund Management, or Capital Market environment.
- Practical understanding of investment accounting, portfolio transactions, NAV, and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of SEC regulatory reporting requirements applicable to Asset Management firms.
- Knowledge of IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
- ACA/ACCA qualification or progress toward professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/financial management software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet regulatory and reporting deadlines with minimal supervision.
