Job Description

  • We’re seeking a motivated Plastics Engineer to join an innovative team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and optimization of plastic products, contributing to various projects that push the boundaries of material science and engineering.
  • A Plastic Blow Molding Engineer optimizes production processes, troubleshoots machinery (extruders, accumulators), and develops tooling to produce plastic products.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of plastic components and products, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of materials, understanding their properties and applications within different contexts.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct experiments and analyze data, contributing to product improvements and innovation.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Help document processes, methodologies, and results to maintain clear records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic plastics processing techniques and material properties.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Require 3-5+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of PET/HDPE materials.
  • Basic understanding of CAD software and design principles.
  • Knowledge of polymer chemistry and processing methods.
  • Understanding of materials characterization techniques.
  • Familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming.
  • Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for product design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
