Title: Site Engineer
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is executed efficiently and according to approved plans.
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure all construction activities comply with approved specifications.
- Monitor structural, civil, and other engineering works to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors while maintaining quality control standards.
- Ensure all materials used on site meet approved specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily site progress reports, work-done reports, and technical reports.
- Coordinate site inspections and ensure excellent housekeeping across project sites.
- Identify technical issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and company procedures.

- Technical compliance: 100%
- Daily site inspection compliance: 100%
- Snag resolution within 3 working days
- Rework rate maintained below 2%
- Material specification compliance: 100%

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant construction site experience.
- Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
- Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
- CORBON Membership is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering and project reporting tools is an advantage.
