Job Title: IT Security Analyst
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Offer: (NGN) – 0 / Monthly
Summary
- The IT Security Analyst is responsible for protecting organizational systems and data by continuously monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats.
Job Duties
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS tools.
- Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing
- Review system and network logs for suspicious activities
- Implement and maintain security controls and best practices
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems
- Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection tools
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management
- Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is an advantage.
Rrelevant Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience.
