Job Title: Pre-Assessment Arrival Report (PAAR) Officer

Responsibilities
- Processing of PAAR using soft copies of document logged on remedy
- Scanning of physical shipping documents for PAAR issuance
- Maintaining an up to date pending PAAR register
- Keeping track of pending PAAR and notifying the relationship managers
- Handling all requests concerning PAAR amendment and cancellation
- Tracking unregistered and queried PAAR and sending pending PAAR report to Customs daily
- Generate schedule of outstanding shipping documents that have not been received after PAAR issuance with soft copies. Advise the RM and their respective units via e-mails/ any other means.
- Handling all queries relating to PAAR in a timely manner and proffering solution as appropriate.
- Ensuring all charges relating to PAAR processing are debited on a timely basis
- Execute process steps and activities within assigned duties and ensure strict adherence to the procedure and relevant SLAs.
- Escalate all exceptions to the attention of team leader and/or unit head for guidance and resolution.
Requirements
- BSC (Without Third Class or Pass) in any related discipline.
- Maximum age: 27 years.
- Working knowledge of rules and regulations governing Payments and trade
- Attention to detail and results oriented
- Strong customers focus and service orientation.
- Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Must be staying close to Victoria Island.
