Job Summary
- The Depot Accountant will be responsible for managing the depot’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring expenses, and supporting effective financial controls and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all depot financial transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor sales, expenses, receipts, and cash collections.
- Reconcile cash, bank, inventory, and other depot accounts.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare invoices, payment requests, and supporting financial documentation.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial records.
- Identify and report financial discrepancies or irregularities.
- Work closely with Depot Operations, Finance, and other relevant teams.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualification with 2 – 4 years experience.
Salary
N250,000 monthly.
