NNPC–SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship: Fully Funded Master’s Opportunities for Nigerian Graduates in the UK

The NNPC–SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship is a highly regarded, fully funded programme designed specifically for outstanding Nigerian graduates. Sponsored by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) on behalf of itself, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), and its co-venture partners, the scholarship provides selected candidates with the opportunity to pursue a one-year Master’s degree at two leading UK universities — the University of Aberdeen and Newcastle University.

Focused on disciplines relevant to the oil and gas industry, the programme aims to develop a new generation of highly skilled Nigerian professionals who can contribute to the growth and sustainability of the energy sector. Successful scholars receive comprehensive support that typically covers full tuition fees, a return economy flight ticket, and a contribution towards living expenses.

Open to qualified applicants from all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, the NNPC–SNEPCo Scholarship remains one of the most targeted and competitive postgraduate opportunities available exclusively to Nigerian citizens. For young graduates with strong academic records and a passion for the energy industry, it offers a clear pathway to world-class education and career advancement.
