People and Culture Associate at The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) – Apply Now

Company Overview

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), originally established in 1946 as the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, is the UN agency dedicated to protecting the rights and well-being of every child. Founded in the aftermath of World War II to provide emergency relief to children, its mandate expanded in the 1950s to address long-term needs worldwide, and it retained the UNICEF acronym even after becoming a permanent part of the UN system. Operating in over 190 countries and territories, UNICEF works impartially to ensure children survive, thrive, and reach their full potential by advancing health and nutrition, education, clean water and sanitation, child protection, and emergency response—especially for the most disadvantaged and hardest-to-reach children.
