A fast-growing digital media distribution company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to support financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and effective financial controls. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, digital media, technology, or related fields, with strong numerical, analytical, organizational, reconciliation, and attention-to-detail skills.

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) -Full-time in-person during probation, then hybrid (60 percent in-person, 40 percent remote)
Employment Type: Contract

KeyResponsibilities
Bookkeeping and Ledgers:

  • Maintain the books and ledgers in the accounting system across the operating currencies, with a clean and complete audit trail.
  • Keep documentation ready for internal and external review.

Money-Movement Control:

  • Prepare and process all payments strictly through the dual-control approval process, so that no payment executes on a single approval.
  • Uphold approval limits and segregation of duties at all times.

Revenue and Gateway Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile each distinct revenue stream separately, without aggregation.
  • Reconcile payment-gateway and mobile-money settlements against the ledger and investigate every variance.

Payouts and Payments:

  • Prepare and reconcile publisher and partner payouts accurately and on schedule.
  • Process monthly contractor payments accurately and on time.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash-flow reports, and variance analysis, and support budgeting.
  • Ensure PAYE and statutory obligations are correctly computed and documented.
  • Any other duties assigned to you.

Requirement

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with 3 – 5 years work experience.

Remuneration: N250,000-300,000
