Job Title: ESG & Sustainability Supervisor

Description
- ESG Reporting & Strategy: Developing and implementing ESG strategies and managing GHG Accounting (Scope 1,2 & 3), sustainability reporting with FRCN’s ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2, SASB and local frameworks).
- Compliance & Monitoring: Overseeing ESG services, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations(e.g., ISO 14001, etc), and driving sustainability culture and initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with regulators, internal and external partners.
- Sustainability Financial awareness: ESG investments impact, carbon costing and compliance with IFC standards.
- Data Analysis and Sustainability metrics: Using data to drive sustainability decision-making and projects.
Responsibilities
- Green House Gases Accounting & Carbon Management (Scope 1,2 & 3)
- ESG reporting and Frameworks (IFRS S1 & S2, GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFC)
- EMS -ISO 14001 Frameworks
- Regulatory Compliance (Local and International Environmental Laws)
- Energy efficiency and decarbonization strategies
- Climate and operational risk management
- Financial awareness – carbon cost and ESG investment Impact
- Data analysis and sustainability metrics
- Strategic thinking and alignment with business goals
- Policy Development and governance
- Stakeholder engagement – Regulators, communities, etc
- Cross-functional departmental collaboration
- Change Management – Driving Sustainment Culture
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; MBA/Master’s is often strongly preferred.
- Experience: Usually requires 3–5+ years in sustainability leadership or related technical roles (e.g., in oil & gas, consultancy, etc).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ESG frameworks and climate resilience.
