Job Title: Builder

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily building and construction activities on assigned project sites.
Coordinate contractors, artisans, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
Ensure all construction works conform to approved drawings and specifications.
Control material usage and minimize wastage on site.
Monitor project progress and report any delays or challenges promptly.
Escalate technical issues and site challenges to the Construction Manager or Construction Project Manager.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures.
Verify completed works before inspection and sign-off.
Assist with daily and weekly project reporting and documentation.

Workmanship quality compliance: 100%
Material wastage maintained below 5%
Daily supervision attendance: 100%
Project progress achievement: ≥95%
Rework occurrence maintained below 2%

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ practical construction experience.
Registered Builder with CORBON registration (preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
Experience supervising artisans, subcontractors, and site activities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
