Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is executed efficiently and according to approved plans.
Interpret engineering drawings and ensure all construction activities comply with approved specifications.
Monitor structural, civil, and other engineering works to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
Supervise contractors and subcontractors while maintaining quality control standards.
Ensure all materials used on site meet approved specifications and project requirements.
Prepare and submit accurate daily site progress reports, work-done reports, and technical reports.
Coordinate site inspections and ensure excellent housekeeping across project sites.
Identify technical issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and company procedures.

Snag resolution within 3 working days
Rework rate maintained below 2%

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant construction site experience.
Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
CORBON Membership is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in engineering and project reporting tools is an advantage.
