Job Summary
- We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, intelligent, and results-driven Junior Associate to join its Litigation Practice. The ideal candidate must possess strong litigation, legal research, and drafting skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative legal team.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters from commencement through conclusion with minimal supervision.
- Draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, legal opinions, agreements, and other legal correspondence.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide well-reasoned legal advice based on current laws and judicial precedents.
- Represent clients independently before courts and other judicial or quasi-judicial bodies when required.
- Review case files, identify legal issues, and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of current decisions of superior courts, legislative developments, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient case management and excellent client service.
- Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable legal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (LL.B.) in Law from a recognized institution.
- Must be a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
- Must have 6–8 years’ post-call experiencewith substantial litigation practice.
- Demonstrated experience in court appearances and the ability to handle matters independently.
- Strong litigation, advocacy, legal drafting, and legal research skills.
- Sound knowledge of current superior court decisions, statutes, and procedural rules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
