Job Summary
- The Loading Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the loading and dispatch of products to ensure accuracy, safety, and timely delivery.
- The role involves verifying loading documents, managing vehicle loading activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily loading operations.
- Verify products, quantities, and dispatch documents before loading.
- Ensure trucks are loaded accurately and dispatched on schedule.
- Monitor loading activities to prevent product loss or damage.
- Maintain accurate loading and dispatch records.
- Liaise with warehouse, production, transport, and security teams.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe loading procedures.
- Report operational issues, discrepancies, and delays promptly.
- Monitor forklift and loading equipment utilization.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards within the loading area.
Education and Work Experience
- Education: Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
- Work Experience: 1–3 years’ experience in loading, dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing or refinery environment.
- Experience in supervising loading activities and coordinating dispatch operations is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and reporting tools.
