Job Title: Centrifugal Operator
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Summary
- Responsible for operating and monitoring centrifugal machines to separate sugar crystals from mother liquor during refining process.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor centrifugal machines to efficiently purge molasses from sugar massecuite.
- Observe sugar crystal color and quality during the purging cycle to ensure process standards are met.
- Set and adjust operational parameters (speed, cycle time, wash water) on centrifugal machines.
- Assist in maintaining centrifugal machines and auxiliary equipment in good working condition.
- Maintain station housekeeping and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all unit activities.
- Ensure full compliance with QMS, FSSC, OHSAS, and other active management systems within the department.
- Perform other duty assignments as directed by the Shift Centrifugal Supervisor.
Qualifications
- OND in science related discipline with little or no experience/ High School certificate holder with experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience in Food and Beverage industry.
- Experience in separation/centrifugation process with reference to sugar liquor in an added advantage.
