One Acre Fund is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit Specialist to support internal audit activities, assess organizational controls, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements that strengthen operational efficiency and accountability. About the Role
- Seeking an Internal Audit Specialist for our Growth Country Units to supervise key audits and strengthen operational controls.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive efficiency, prevent fraud, and safeguard financial health as we scale.
Responsibilities
Plan and supervise the execution of medium-complexity audits and management requests with little or no manager support:
- Own execution of internal audit tests
- Deliver high-quality reviews in compliance with Internal Audit Methodology
- Coordinate the team to ensure delivery of the audit report and management reports in compliance with IA methodology
- Innovate and solve audit plan execution challenges/ problems (e.g swapping audits due to other conflicting events)
- Support the delivery of IA OKRs as they relate to the country program
Own findings related to team lead level or defined grade 2&3:
- Report findings to management
- Work with management responsible for the findings to develop resolutions
- Regularly follow up with management responsible to ensure findings are resolved
Qualifications
For this role specifically, you will have:
- 3+ years of Audit experience
- 3+ years of Experience with accounting and auditing applications such as SAP, Symbiant
- 3+ years of Experience with Data Analytics Tools such as Power BI
- Audit Findings and Report-writing experience.
