Job Summary
- As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and process financial transactions in line with company policies
- Prepare bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and other financial reports on a timely basis
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring proper documentation and record keeping
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal control requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or related sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles
- Candidates residing within Apapa and its immediate environs are strongly preferred.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
