About the Role
- The job purpose is to ensure that the Finance function of supporting the Sales Ordering Process (SOP) is carried out efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Sales Ordering support:- Ensure that all Channel Partners’ orders awaiting Finance’s override are processed promptly by following up with ACE Billing Team.
- Ensure no bad debt to Airtel arising from credit utilization.
- Ensure no debit balance for Cash Channel Partners.
Daily Reporting:
- Ensure daily Channel Partners’ overdue report tracking.
- Monitor daily credit limits utilization.
- Daily tracking of the CPs BG expiration / validity.
- Daily ERC shop Vs Pretups Reconciliation.
Book-Keeping and Hygiene:
- Ensure that Channel Partners’ statements of accounts are reconciled daily to militate against risk to Airtel.
- Daily Tracking of Stock Transfer/Return for all Airtel Stock are process within agreed control.
Finance Month-end activities & Ad-hoc functions:
- Involved in Finance’s month end book closure activities.
- Carry out other ad-hoc functions that may be assigned.
Educational Qualifications
- University Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
- ACA is an added advantage.
Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
- Adept user of accounting packages; Sage Line 500 and Oracle ERP
- Good Communication (Oral & Written) and Inter-personal skills
- Good numerate and Analytical skills
- Spontaneous and logical.
