Job Description

  • A reputable hotel in the hospitality industry is seeking a dedicated, hardworking and service-oriented Assistant Laundry Specialist/Personnel to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with washing, drying, ironing and folding of hotel linens, towels, uniforms and guest garments.
  • Sort laundry according to colour, fabric and washing requirements.
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all clean items are properly folded, stored and delivered to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area.
  • Report damaged or stained items to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate laundry supplies and detergents.
  • Follow hotel hygiene, safety and quality standards.
  • Perform other laundry-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, laundry facility or hospitality environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Physically fit and able to handle laundry-related tasks.
  • Honest, reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Salary
N60,000 / month.
