Job Title: AI Full Stack Engineer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Role Overview
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications end-to-end, from model development and integration to front-end and back-end engineering, to enhance SRHIN’s programme delivery, research capacity, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-driven tools and features, integrating machine learning/AI models into functional software products.
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web/mobile applications that host or interact with AI systems.
- Integrate AI models into existing SRHIN systems and workflows, ensuring smooth deployment and scalability.
- Design, build, test, and maintain full applications end-to-end (UI, APIs, databases, deployment pipelines).
- Research emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to SRHIN’s mission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, research, media) on AI-enabled and general software projects.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and secure code across the stack.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve deployed applications and AI features.
- Ensure ethical and responsible use of AI, particularly around sensitive health data.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in full-stack software development, with demonstrable experience integrating AI/ML models into applications.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g. JavaScript/React, Node.js, Python) and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
- Experience with databases, APIs, version control (Git), and deployment/CI-CD pipelines.
- Understanding of AI ethics, particularly in health-related applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently across the full technology stack.
