Slum and Rural Health Initiative Network (SRHIN) is seeking a skilled and analytical Machine Learning Engineer to develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning solutions that support health research, data-driven decision-making, and innovative digital health initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, statistics, computer science, health informatics, or related fields, with strong skills in Python or other programming languages, machine learning frameworks, data analysis, model development, statistical modelling, and problem-solving.

Role Overview
- Build and deploy machine learning models that support SRHIN’s health data analysis, predictive insights, and programme decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models for various organisational use cases.
- Prepare and process datasets for model development.
- Deploy models into production and monitor performance.
- Collaborate with data and research teams to translate research questions into ML solutions.
- Document model development processes and maintain version control.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in machine learning engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of statistics, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with health or social data is an advantage.
