Job Description
- A Commercial Officer is required for Gobel Marine to oversee the commercial operations of Gobel Ship and manage vessel chartering activities across the Group.
- The role is responsible for driving revenue generation, optimizing vessel utilization, and managing client and charter relationships.

Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial operations of Gobel Ship to ensure optimal utilization and profitability
- Handle end-to-end vessel chartering activities for the Group
- Identify and secure chartering opportunities with local and international clients
- Negotiate charter agreements, rates, and commercial terms
- Maintain and grow relationships with ship owners, charterers, brokers, and clients
- Monitor market trends in the maritime and offshore industry to support pricing and strategy decisions
- Prepare commercial reports, performance updates, and revenue forecasts
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial best practices
- Collaborate with operations, legal, and finance teams to support vessel deployment and contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Experience in shipping, offshore, logistics, or marine commercial operations
- Strong knowledge of vessel chartering (time charter, spot charter, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
